As the birthplace of celebrities like Ben Affleck and Mark Wahlberg, Massachusetts is known to breed talent. But it also attracts it.
Many big names have moved to Massachusetts over the years, like Steve Carrell, Dan Aykroyd and Ted Danson. This year, several celebrities planted roots in Massachusetts by buying a home in the state.
Some stars also gave up properties in the Bay State — actor Harry Connick Jr. put his Cape Cod summer house on the market in May, while Celtics star Al Horford listed his Brookline mansion for nearly $9 million the same month.
Here’s which celebrities bought houses in Massachusetts in 2024.
Singer Zach Bryan buys $7.4M house in Duxbury
Country singer Zach Bryan reportedly bought a home in Duxbury for $7,450,000 in April.
While agents of the sale declined to comment to The Patriot Ledger, property records show the home was purchased under an LLC that lists Bryan as a manager.
Bryan’s former girlfriend, podcaster Brianna LaPaglia , also appeared to share social media posts at the home earlier this year.
