There’s potential for a few slick spots early Saturday across interior portions of New England with a chance for light freezing rain. An approaching warm front will bring moisture across Southern New England Saturday morning. In most locations, precipitation will fall as rain with temperatures climbing above freezing. A few pockets across far northwestern Rhode Island, central and western Massachusetts, and Connecticut could see a brief period of freezing rain early Saturday at the onset of precipitation with temperatures near the freezing mark. Watch out for slick spots especially on bridges and overpasses.
