Mass. weather: Below-zero wind chills possible amid cold snap

A cold front drifts into Massachusetts Tuesday, bringing a shot of cold air and gusting winds that will lead to highs in the low to mid-20s, though it will feel much colder. National Weather Service forecasters say Bay Staters can expect wind gusts around 30 to 40 mph throughout the day, with a chance for some gusts to clock in faster, around 50 mph, particularly in The Berkshires. It’s expected to be a dry day for much of the state, but there is a chance for some flurries Tuesday morning, though no accumulating snow is in the forecast.
