Flock Safety Reportedly Cutting 270 Jobs As Michigan Cities Turn Off Surveillance Cameras

DETROIT — Michigan communities are pulling the plug on AI-powered surveillance cameras as Flock Safety, one of the nation’s largest providers of automated license-plate recognition technology, reportedly prepares to eliminate approximately 270 jobs, or 18% of its workforce.
