Michigan woman sentenced to prison for embezzling $20K from vulnerable adults

LANSING, MI – A former Michigan court official has been sentenced to prison for embezzling over $20,000 from vulnerable adults she was appointed to protect. Jessica Englebrecht, 36, of Scottville, was sentenced to serve between 35 months to 7 years in prison by Judge Susan Sniegowski on Tuesday, Jan. 30, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced.
