Michigan National Guard mobilizes soldiers to help communities in South Carolina

LANSING, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — Forty soldiers from the Michigan National Guard will be mobilized to South Carolina to help impacted communities in the wake Hurricane Helene. Hurricane Helene has killed more than 200 people throughout the Southeastern United States, making it the deadliest hurricane to affect the region since Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
