LANSING — Recently, Michigan State University Extension and the Michigan 4-H Foundation hosted the 4-H Legacy Awards Celebration to recognize outstanding Michigan 4-H alumni, volunteers, youth, staff and partners including three Northern Michigan alumni.
The Michigan 4-H Emerald Clover Society honors former alumni whose professional leadership and community service reflect the ultimate outcome of 4-H membership.
Clover Society award honorees from Northern Michigan included:
- Nancy L. Victorson of Newberry in Luce County
- Former State Rep. Joel Sheltrown of West Branch in Ogemaw County
- State Sen. Edward W. McBroom of Vulcan in Dickinson County
