LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – The Michigan National Guard has received orders to deploy to the Southwest Border to help Federal Law Enforcement. The 1463rd Transportation Company out of Battle Creek, Michigan will gather with family and friends on Saturday, October 26th at Lakeview Middle School in Battle Creek. The Soldiers’ mission will be to assist U.S. Customs and Border Patrol with their security mission and allow agents to conduct their law enforcement duties.
