‘Win, win, win’ payment worth $1,750 landing in American bank accounts in coming months – & there’s ‘no limit’ to claim

AMERICANS can apply for a one-time payment of at least $1,700 under a new drive to reduce childhood poverty.

Parents in Minnesota are urged to file a claim for a new tax credit, set to be the highest in the country at $1750.

Around 300,000 families are set to be aided by this payment which is offered per child with no maximum limit.

Eligible children must be 17 years old and younger, other rules about eligibility relating to income and other factors can be found here on the website of the Minnesota Department of Revenue.

Families must file a 2023 income tax return by the deadline of April 15 to apply for the additional credit which was approved last year.

Gov. Tim Walz and other state leaders visited tax preparation volunteers on Monday to spread awareness about the new credit.

“That’s how we get to reducing childhood poverty in Minnesota by a third,” Gov. Tim Walz said.

“If this works right, by the end of the year, Minnesota should have the lowest childhood poverty rates in the entire country.”
