This Week in Geek, a Minnesota geek community event guide, has a busy schedule from February 19 to February 25, 2024. The week starts with an online trivia night on Twitch, hosted by Geeks Who Drink, on Monday, February 19, at 8:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, February 20, at 6:30 p.m., the Minneapolis Central Book Club will hold a virtual discussion on The Final Review of Opal & Nev: A Novel by Dawnie Walton. The book club discusses both fiction and nonfiction books. The event is free, but registration is required. The book for the March discussion is Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke.

On Wednesday, February 21, at 7:45 a.m., there will be a virtual yoga class. The class is suitable for all levels and is taught live from various zoo exhibits. The classes cost $15 each for nonmembers, with discounts for zoo members or multiple class registrations. Later that day, at 7:00 p.m., Katherine Freese will give a talk on the evidence supporting the existence of dark matter. This event is hosted by New Scientist and tickets cost $20.
