Minnesota House has eventful Friday, passing multiple bills

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – The Minnesota House had a busy Friday night, sending multiple bills to the Senate or to Gov. Walz for approval. The House passed the conference committee’s report Education Supplemental Budget bill on a 70-58 vote. The bill adds new funding for the READ Act, as well as expands voluntary pre-K programs starting in 2025 and establishes a program to pay student teachers.
