After some showers this Independence Day morning subside for lunchtime, another round of storms is set to sweep through. Between 2-9pm, scattered and sometimes intense to severe thunderstorms are expected across southern Minnesota and North Iowa. Storms could last in some instances for several hours. Meanwhile, there is a risk for strong winds and large hail.
