Rain Leaves During Fourth of July Night

OVERNIGHT: A low-pressure system brought rain to eastern ND and western MN throughout the day, with steady rain in the southern half of our region during the morning and afternoon hours, and scattered showers and storms in many areas throughout the rest of the day. Some of the storms spun up a couple of funnel clouds by mid-afternoon, of which one had photos captured of it and sent our way. A couple of others moved through the same area, leading to downpours and Flash Flood Warnings that expired by 9 PM. Most areas, however, saw less than an inch of rain, due to the scattered nature of the showers and storms.
