Good morning everyone. Low pressure off of the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast coast has wobbled away just enough to bring some extra sunshine into areas of the Northeast and interior parts of New England. This will provide us with a warmer-than-expected day as highs reach into the low 80’s in spots. Unfortunately, low pressure will wobble back twice, once tomorrow and once on Saturday morning before finally pulling away for good.

This means areas of the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, will see a new round of clouds and showers tomorrow. Meanwhile, extreme southeast Massachusetts & Rhode Island, could see another round on Saturday. Look for the continuation of coastal flooding issues along the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut shores due to the prolonged onshore fetch, combined with astronomical high tides with the Harvest Moon. We could also see more enhanced tides along the Chesapeake Bay shorelines before finally settling down on Sunday.
