A Minnesotan has until Dec. 31 to claim their lottery winnings, or lose $1 million

The holder of a Minnesota lottery ticket worth $1 million has until Dec. 31 to claim their prize or they’ll lose it forever.

The Minnesota Lottery website says that one of the winners of the New Year’s Day 2024 Millionaire Raffle has still not claimed their prize, and the money goes back to the state if it’s not claimed within a year.

The winning ticket was sold at Coborn’s at 1400 Babcock Blvd. E. in Delano for the Jan. 1, 2024 drawing.

The owner of the ticket needs to bring it to the Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville to claim their prize.

Other unclaimed prizes in Minnesota include a $731,160 win in the Gopher 5 drawing on Dec. 12, which was bought at the Kwik Trip store at 11736 Ulysses Ln. NE. in Blaine.
