Vicksburg favorite Rusty’s Riverfront Grill is getting ready to launch a new chapter. The beloved restaurant, helmed by the Larsen family, is headed to Oxford with plans to open next spring, reports Vicksburg News.
Operating under the name “Rusty’s Oxford”, the new location will be opening as part of The Belle Commons retail development. The beloved Vicksburg eatery shared the news about its upcoming second home via social media post. The October 5 announcement was simple but direct, saying: “Something Exciting Coming Very Soon!” above an image emblazoned with the words “Rusty’s Oxford Mississippi”.
The post garnered a great deal of enthusiasm among the community as well as some minor concerns which ownership was quick to abate, assuring existing Vicksburg customers that the Oxford location is part of an expansion, not a relocation…
