Vaping ‘all the time’ left young US man with ‘1 percent chance of living’

An American man has said that using an e-vape ‘all the time’ left him with a ‘1 percent chance of living’ , according to her doctors.

Jackson Allard ended up needing a double lung transplant, largely due to the fact that he was using his vape too often , according to the experts.

At just 22 years of age, Jackson needed medical professionals to act fast and kept the 22-year-old alive, with the odds stacked against him in Mississippi.

His grandmother Doreen said: “At one point a doctor said he had a 1% chance of living.” She had frequently asked her grandson to stop vaping, though Jackson continued after arguing it was healthier than smoking.

A double lung transplant later, and Jackson is unable to drink alcohol or smoke ever again. He has already been told a future transplant is inevitable because of how much damage was caused by the vapes. Medical expert Stephanie Hansen has since said the “scariest thing” about vaping is how little is currently known on the e-cigarettes and their long-term impact.
