Tyler Perry and Al Pacino in Mississippi

Two big Hollywood stars visit Mississippi.

Writer, director, actor, playwright Tyler Perry and Academy Award-winning actor Al Pacino film separate projects in the Magnolia state.

Perry, who is noted for his “Madea” character was in Clarksdale filming for an upcoming movie, according to reports. The movie is centered on another character of Perry’s, “Joe,” who is Madea’s brother.

Pacino is in Natchez filming “The Ritual” at St. Mary Basilica, according to The Natchez Democrat . Filming is scheduled to go on for three weeks.
