Governor signs legislation to bring 1,000 high-paying tech jobs to Madison County

JACKSON, Miss. – Gov. Tate Reeves signed legislation on Tuesday to finalize a $10 billion project that promises to bring at least 1,000 jobs to Madison County. Mississippi lawmakers approved the deal during a special session last week. Reeves said the $10 billion Amazon Web Services project is the largest capital investment in the state’s history. The development includes building two data centers in Madison County, creating high-paying tech jobs.
