The last week has been a very wet one for areas of the Gulf. Many spots in Louisiana and Mississippi saw rainfall totals reach over 6″ from a stalled front that kept dumping heavy rain over similar states (see image above). Scary scenes like this came out of the West and Central Gulf as flash flooding became a very real thing to residents last week.
