After a beautiful week, changes are taking place now. We started out cool and beautiful. The clouds are rolling into South Mississippi, and not too far behind is some light rain. We will see scattered showers this morning. By the afternoon, we expect some scattered showers and possible thunderstorms. By this evening, we could see some strong winds, heavy rain and thunderstorms. The winds will start picking up in the afternoon hours with breezy winds out of the southeast at 15-25 mph. By the evening, wind gusts could be upwards of 40 mph. Secure any outdoor furniture or objects.
