JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Tonight: It’s been a gloomy and muggy day so far but most of us have been dry to start off the weekend. However, that is going to change this evening as the showers and storms begin to move further south. This morning, the shower activity stayed mostly to the north but you can expect more showers and thunderstorms for the rest of tonight. A marginal risk (1/5) is in place for portions of central Mississippi as storms push through tonight. The main threat with these storms if any do become severe will be gusty winds and hail. This line of storms will move through tonight and into early tomorrow morning. You can expect warm and muggy conditions to continue throughout tonight and into tomorrow.
