JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Today: The wind will continue for the start to this weekend as well as the warmer temperatures. By this afternoon, you can expect highs in the mid 80s for pretty much all of central and southwest Mississippi. Partly cloudy skies will stick around and wind gusts will reach upwards of 30 to 40 mph throughout the day. After sunset, temperatures will cool off slightly with lows in the 60s.
