Shots fired, police pursuit in north Mississippi

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man in northern Mississippi was arrested after allegedly firing shots at his ex-girlfriend.

Arkansas woman found stabbed to death, suspect in custody

A little after 9 p.m., a woman called the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office and said she and her friend, who is the ex-girlfriend of the suspect, were being shot at. Gunshots could be heard during the call.

When deputies arrived at the location on Red Banks Road, the alleged gunman drove towards Highway 78 into Marshall County.

Deputies there picked up the chase.

The suspect eventually wrecked in the median. He tried to get away on foot but was taken into custody.

Man accused of robbing, tasing woman in the face

The suspect is being charged with multiple felonies and may be wanted in Shelby County for a possible armed robbery.
