PINE BELT, Miss. (WDAM) – The Mississippi triage, treat and transport to an alternative destination act, otherwise known as House Bill 1489, went into effect July 1. Ambulance services from across the state sat down with lawmakers this legislative session to look at ways to improve resources for emergency medical services.
