Bruce: Tropical spin in the Gulf brings a continued flood threat into Saturday morning

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -Tropical spin in the Gulf brings a continued flood threat into Saturday morning. Passing areas of heavy down pours through Saturday morning as a developing low along the Texas coast continues to pump tropical moisture across southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. An easterly wind is also contributing to coastal flooding in some areas outside of the flood risk reduction system. The flood watch was extended as the low appears to be more slow moving and the energy that will push the cold front south less intense allowing for rain to linger through the morning and possibly later in the day Saturday.
