Missouri voters will decide Nov. 3 whether to bolster the state’s main tool for direct democracy, a key vote that would wrestle power away from the state legislature.
The measure, called Amendment 6, seeks to strengthen Missouri’s initiative petition process, a century-old form of direct democracy that allows citizens to collect signatures and pass laws.
