(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Teacher’s pay has always been a topic of discussion in the Show-Me-State legislation, and the push for a much needed raise continues. According to the National Education Association, Missouri ranks 50th in the nation in terms of average teacher starting pay, with that number being 34-thousand dollars.
