ST. LOUIS – Thursday night, ‘ Farmer Wants a Wife ‘ premiered on FOX stations, delivering an episode filled with introductions, speed dating, eliminations, and tears. The participating farmers come from locations, including Florida, Tennessee, Colorado, and Missouri .
The show’s premise centers around single women from the city competing for the attention of single men from the countryside. In this season, four farmers—Ty, Brandon, Mitch, and Nathan—take the spotlight.

A group of ladies examines the farmers’ profiles, selecting the ones they believe would be the best match. Subsequently, the farmers reciprocate by choosing eight ladies each for an initial meeting.
Each farmer engages in a mini-date with the eight chosen ladies, evaluating compatibility along the way. After these encounters, the farmers must make a tough decision, selecting five ladies to continue their journey on the show.
