Abortion rights signature drive begins today

ST. LOUIS – A campaign to legalize abortion in Missouri begins Tuesday.

‘Missourians for Constitutional Freedom’ is hosting events to gather signatures across the state. They have 90 days to gather 185,000 signatures in order to get the issue on the ballot.

Republicans in Jefferson City want to make it more difficult to amend the state constitution. The initiative petition process is how recreational and medical marijuana both became legal in the state.
