WARN Act Filings Reveal Fresh Round of Missouri Layoffs Across Multiple Industries

Two more businesses have filed mass layoff notices in Missouri this week.

Under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, an employer with more than 100 full-time workers must provide a 60-day notice before laying off 50 or more people at a single site.

Yesterday, two notices were lodged with the Missouri Office of Workforce Development advising of mass layoffs.

Southern Glazers is laying off 94 staff in St.Charles on November 1, while Omega Healthcare is laying off staff in Oak Grove on September 30.

Recent Job Cuts

Recently, several other businesses in Missouri filed for job cuts.
