Joplin Attorney sworn in as President of The Missouri Bar

JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) — A Joplin attorney has been swore in as President of The Missouri Bar.

According to The Missouri Bar , Shelly Dreyer, was swore in during the organization’s Annual Meeting held in St. Louis.

The Missouri Bar says Dreyer will serve a one-year term, take the helm of the state’s organization for all Missouri licensed attorneys. Dreyer will be the first female President in the 80-year history of The Missouri Bar who is not from St. Louis or Kansas City.

“I am deeply honored to serve as President of The Missouri Bar,” said Dreyer. “This position allows me to work alongside dedicated legal professionals committed to advancing the interests of our clients and communities. I look forward to addressing the challenges we face and fostering initiatives that enhance the legal profession in Missouri.”
