JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) — A Joplin attorney has been swore in as President of The Missouri Bar.
According to The Missouri Bar , Shelly Dreyer, was swore in during the organization’s Annual Meeting held in St. Louis.
The Missouri Bar says Dreyer will serve a one-year term, take the helm of the state’s organization for all Missouri licensed attorneys. Dreyer will be the first female President in the 80-year history of The Missouri Bar who is not from St. Louis or Kansas City.

I look forward to addressing the challenges we face and fostering initiatives that enhance the legal profession in Missouri.”
