Volunteers are needed to aid in disaster relief efforts as the southeastern United States begins to recover from Hurricane Helene, and as Florida braces for another major hurricane later this week. Rebecca Gordon with the Central and Northern Missouri chapter of the American Red Cross said that widespread devastation is fueling the high demand.
