Good evening, Heartland. We are looking at a cool evening, with temperatures dropping to the low 50s and upper 40s after sunset. Expect mostly clear to partly cloudy skies throughout the night, but still dry this evening. By Sunday morning, temperatures start off in the mid to low 40s with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. Throughout the afternoon, expect mostly cloudy skies but there is a small chance for isolated, light showers, especially over southeast Missouri. Highs in the afternoon will be in the upper 60s. Late Sunday night, a few showers move into our western counties near Carter, Ripley, and Reynolds counties. The rain moves northeast overnight and brings rain to our northern counties in southern Illinois such as Perry, Jefferson, and Hamilton counties. However, the rain moves out pretty quickly.
