Figuring out just how many Missouri families are choosing to homeschool has been elusive, until recently. In December, the Policy Research in Missouri Education (PRiME) Center at Saint Louis University unveiled the results of a first-of-its-kind study. Titled ” Taking Attendance: Estimating Homeschooling Populations in States without Official Homeschool Data – a Pilot Analysis in Missouri ,” research showed more than 61,000 students are currently being taught at home.
