PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) — A three-state fugitive is behind bars after an off-duty cop spotted him in the Pierre area.
39-year-old Terry Lee Schoenhut was wanted on a variety of charges from Nebraska, Iowa, and in both South Dakota Pennington and Tripp counties.

Schoenhut was believed to be potentially armed and dangerous, with a history of resisting law enforcement.
An off-duty Hughes County Deputy sheriff spotted Schoenhut at a Pierre business Saturday afternoon and alerted nearby authorities.
Schoenhut was arrested without incident.
