New Nebraska law allows sharing of information to help fight overdose crisis

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Nebraska Legislature knocked down a wall that was stopping the flow of information needed to fight against overdose deaths in the state. Last year, lawmakers passed a bill that now allows multiple agencies in Nebraska to form a team with the goal of sharing information on overdose deaths and working to identify gaps in the system to prevent future tragedies.
