Julie Slama took to social media to announce she will not be seeking re-election in 2024. “It has been the honor and privilege of my lifetime to serve my neighbors in southeast Nebraska,” she said. “I’ve decided to begin a new chapter as an attorney in the private sector and focus on the joys and responsibilities of being a new mom.”
