The region faces dangerous fire weather conditions characterized by low relative humidity as low as 15%, high temperatures nearing the upper 90s, and gusty south winds up to 35 mph. These factors create an environment where any fire start could rapidly escalate, posing significant risks.
Residents are advised to exercise extreme caution, as the combination of strong winds, dry conditions, and potential dry lightning this afternoon and evening could lead to uncontrollable fire behavior.
