The nation is once again having conversations about gun violence following a school shooting in Georgia earlier this week, and many local schools are having conversations too. According to CNN there have been 45 school shootings in the US this year so far. Although Nebraska has relatively fewer shootings compared to other states, local schools and law enforcement officials are trying to be proactive in preparing.
