‘Bottom half for infant mortality’: Nebraska experts use data to pinpoint problem areas

LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska’s infant mortality rate is worsening despite nearly 85% of expectant mothers receiving adequate prenatal care. “Comparted to the rest of the country we’re in the bottom half for infant mortality in Nebraska. We didn’t used to be. We are now. So, to me, that’s a reason why we really need to focus on this,” Lincoln Dr. Bob Rauner said.
