‘Game changer’: Nebraska promotes updated 211 helpline for military families

OMAHA, Neb. – The Nebraska community is taking another step forward to help veterans in need with the launch of the new Military and Family Helpline. “It’s a game changer when it comes to support for military communities,” said Lauren Kimball, an assistant vice president of the United Way of the Midlands. “Knowing you have a community that stands by you and is supportive of you, whether you’re here short-term or long-term.”
