HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – Behind yesterday’s cold front and the strong winds that came with it, much colder has temporarily settled in. Since yesterday, the winds have lightened up. Most will keep winds under 10 mph, although south southeast winds will increase later today and become slightly breezy out west. It will be a chilly day with the coldest temperatures in the northeast. Highs will range from the mid 20s northeast to the lower 40s out west. Some warmer air will be in the Panhandle. There will be a decent amount of sunshine, but there will be quite a few cirrus clouds that will move across the area from northwest to southeast. Some may see skies become partly sunny. With mostly clear skies tonight, it will again be chilly with lows down into the 10s.
