Top Dem PAC Reserves More Than $50M on Airwaves in Two Key Senate States

The ad buys will support the reelection bids of Democratic Sens. Jacky Rosen and Jon Tester

Senate Majority PAC, a Democratic super PAC focused on winning Senate races, has placed two ad buys totaling more than $50 million in Montana and Nevada.

As reported first by Politico , the super PAC spent $27 million in Montana and $36 million in Nevada. The advertisements will support the reelection bids of Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., and Sen. Jacky Rosen, D-Nev., as Democrats attempt to defend their narrow Senate majority against a difficult map.

Senate Majority PAC President JB Poersch said more reservations are to come.

“Democrats are in a strong position to hold our Senate majority with incumbent Senators who have always put their constituents first and Republican opponents who are wildly out of touch with voters,” Poersch said.

Democrats are hoping to hold onto their majority, but retirements within the party may prove that goal difficult.
