Nevada gaming board halts sports betting scheme

The Nevada Gaming Control Board has halted a scheme by sportsbook employees to steal money from sports betting kiosks, according to an 8newsnow.com report. The board began investigating a scheme in Dec. 2022 by employees of William Hill, a Nevada sports book operator, who allegedly made fraudulent cash adjustments at sports betting kiosks, resulting in a more than $70,000 loss.
