LAS VEGAS (KSNV) – The Mercy Air bases located in Henderson, Mesquite and Mercy Air 21 in Pahrump are now recognized as first responders. This new designation enables their air medical teams to land directly at emergency sites and initiate patient care immediately, eliminating the prior requirement for ground responders to secure a landing area before the air medical crew lands.
