A Middlesex County polling site was locked at the start of Election Day voting after confusion over security guards kept the school building closed, Piscataway Township officials said.
The school facility was still locked when polls were scheduled to open Tuesday because “school officials incorrectly cited that security guards were not present,” the township said in a social media post.
