Sunny but cold day on tap in NY, NJ

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The weekend snowfall may be over but the cold temperatures linger in the New York City area on Sunday.

It will be a bright but chilly start before temperatures reach a high of 38 degrees in the tri-state area.

Similar conditions can be seen throughout the upcoming week with temps in the 30s and 40s, with pleasant skies. However, rain is expected on Thursday evening and Friday. But the wet weather won’t damper next weekend, which is expected to be seasonable.
