Piscataway’s Butler leads N.J. in 2024 Penn Relays boys high jump

Philadelphia – N.J. had six boys high jumpers on hand at the Penn Relays and it was Piscataway senior Brian Butler who paced the pack on Friday at Franklin Field. The Rutgers pledge produced a fifth-place jump of 6-6 to medal in a field that turned out to be ridiculously stacked out of state. The winning clearance was a 7-0 ½ from James Hillhouse (CT) product Khalil Antoine and the likes of Union-AC Valley (PA) silver medalist Hayden Smith (6-10 ¼), Archbishop Carroll (DC) bronze-medalist Drew Dillard (6-9), and West Springfield (VA) standout Paris Johnson (6-8) rounded out the rest of the top five.
