Princeton Battlefield State Park to unveil US 250th anniversary displays at reenactment

Princeton Battlefield State Park is unveiling significant enhancements ahead of America’s 250th anniversary during its annual reenactment of the Battle of Princeton on Sunday.

State officials announced this week that visitors will be able to see 10 newly installed interpretive displays highlighting the battle’s history and significance during the reenactment. The upgrades and the event essentially kick off a multi-year stretch that Gov. Phil Murphy and others have described as an important opportunity to highlight New Jersey’s central role in the Revolutionary War.

“Over the next two years, we’re excited to showcase how New Jersey continues to be a beacon of innovation, carrying forward the revolutionary spirit ignited 250 years ago,” Murphy said.
